George El Haber is a Cypriot jazz trumpeter and educator from Limassol and a graduate of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. His artistic style is rooted in jazz while also embracing big band music, hard bop, brass ensembles, and Mediterranean-inspired repertoire.
George began his musical journey at the Marios Tokas Music School in Limassol. From an early age, he actively participated in concerts and ensembles, gaining valuable performance experience. He has performed with the Limassol Municipal Philharmonic, the Paphos Big Band, and the Petros Mendonis Big Band, developing a strong foundation in orchestral and wind-band performance alongside his passion for jazz.
In his lessons, George helps students develop trumpet technique, musicality, rhythm, listening skills, ensemble performance, and improvisation. He combines professional musical training with an engaging and supportive approach, adapting each lesson to the student’s age, level, interests, and individual goals.
