Viktoria Kotovich is the founder and artistic director of SYNERJOY — Center for Music, Arts & Creativity in Limassol, Cyprus, as well as the founder of the international cultural and educational project RESTART International Competition.
For over 15 years, her professional work has developed at the intersection of music education, performing arts, cultural management, choral arts, and international creative projects.
Viktoria holds two higher education degrees in music and two master's degrees in musical art — majoring in Choral Conducting and Piano Performance. She performs as a conductor, pianist, and vocalist, is a laureate and prize-winner of international conducting and vocal competitions, and is an educator of the highest qualification category.
She is the author of original music pedagogy programs and methods for children under 9 years old, combining the development of ear training, rhythm, voice, musical thinking, movement, stage freedom, and creative independence.
Choral Arts and Conducting
For over ten years, Viktoria has worked with children's, youth, and mixed choirs. Over the years, her conducting career has been associated with the Blagodat Choir, the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music Student Choir, the Tula Philharmonic Choir, the Accord Youth Choir, the Liberty Children's Choir, and today — the SYNERJOY Choir for children and adults.
Under her direction, choral and vocal ensembles have become laureates of international competitions and performed on stages in Austria, Italy, France, and the Czech Republic — in Vienna, Florence, Paris, and Prague.
In 2026, the SYNERJOY Choir represented Cyprus at the World Peace Choral Festival in Vienna, received a Silver Award, and Viktoria was invited to conduct the international combined choir at the United Nations Office at Vienna.
Her personal professional achievements include participation and prize placements in international conducting competitions, including the International Choral Conducting Competition “CAPELLA” in Moscow, the international conducting competition at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, and the Václav Talich Conducting Competition in Prague, among others.
Students and Young Artist Development
A special place in Viktoria's work is held by the development of young performers. Her students have become laureates of international competitions, passed selection and final stages of television music projects, including Junior Eurovision, The Voice, The Voice of Greece, Bolshaya Scena, Poy, Strana, Ty Super! and others.
Viktoria works not only on vocal and musical technique, but also on the complete development of the artist: repertoire selection, stage image, competition program, recording original songs, creating music videos, and preparation for further professional education.
Graduates and students have gone on to study at professional music institutions, including the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, Voronezh Music College, Voronezh Academy of Arts, as well as music colleges and educational programs in the USA.
Educational and Cultural Projects
In 2014, Viktoria founded the VIKTORY School of Arts in Voronezh. The school developed as a space where learning is not limited to lessons: students participated in concerts, competitions, ensembles, recorded songs, created music videos, and gained real stage experience.
Later, Viktoria created JazzParty — a rooftop concert and cultural project in Voronezh that brought together professional concerts, jam sessions, art breakfasts, and music education programs. JazzParty became one of the official venues of the XXV International Jazz Province Festival.
As part of her cultural projects, Viktoria has collaborated with professional musicians and performers, including Ronald Baker, Arkady Shilkloper, Leonid Vintskevich / Vintskevich & New Art, Kairos Trio, Ksenia Korobkova, Karina Kozhevnikova, and Andrey Dudchenko.
After moving to Cyprus, Viktoria became the co-founder of Liberty Music & Arts School in Limassol and Paphos, where she continued to develop the model of a creative space combining education, concerts, children's programs, and community. She later sold her share in the project to focus on creating SYNERJOY.
Music Education and Media
A distinct area of Viktoria's work is music education, publications, and media work.
She created the original lecture series “Music for Breakfast”, dedicated to music history, composers, and how to appreciate classical music without a sense of distance or elitism.
Viktoria has published articles as an author and expert in various publications. These include Pulse PRIME / PulseParty, where her article “Nurturing Through Music” was published, SLOVA magazine, Dorogoe Udovolstvie — Voronezh, as well as expert features and interviews in Argumenty i Fakty — Voronezh and other regional media.
She also has experience participating in satellite educational television programs and public educational work for broad audiences.
Children's and Youth Projects
For over 15 years, Viktoria has been involved in children's and youth educational programs, camps, and interdisciplinary projects. Her experience includes working as Program Director for teen programs, creating camp concepts, and developing educational formats where music is combined with theater, movement, visual arts, teamwork, and independence.
SYNERJOY Today
Today, SYNERJOY brings together all of Viktoria's previous experience: professional education, the stage, choral arts, young artist development, international competitions, work with professional musicians, original teaching methods, music education, and a creative community.
For Viktoria, it is important that SYNERJOY offers different pathways — from a child preparing for a professional music career and the international stage, to an adult who comes to music for the first time simply because they have always dreamed of it.
